The Chapel of Our Lady of Philermos

This chapel has an alter and facade of fine inlaid marble. There is also a sculptured ceiling with paintings of The Virgin's Assumption and the Coronation of the Virgin. The shrine is enclosed by an enormous silver gate mounted on a marble balustrade. The Chapel has a copy of the 15th century Annunciation and a 17th century copy of Our Lady of Lanciano which was originally in the Italian Langue.
